Vibo Uniko Corner Pull-Out | Smart Storage for Apartments

No More Lost Corners: How the Vibo Uniko Pull-Out Brings Corner Storage to You

Almost every L-shaped or U-shaped kitchen has one: the blind corner cabinet. It is deep, dark and awkward to reach, so it fills up with the things you rarely use, and the things you need end up somewhere else. In an apartment kitchen, where every cupboard counts, losing that space is a real cost.

The Uniko corner mechanism by Vibo, the Italian kitchen storage specialist, is one of the neatest solutions we have seen to this problem. Open the door and the shelves glide out towards you, bringing the whole corner into easy reach.

How It Works

Uniko uses curved, free-standing shelves that swing out of the corner cabinet when you open the door. Each shelf moves independently of the others, so you can pull out only the level you need, without disturbing the one above or below.

The shelves are framed with a double elliptical rail that keeps jars, tins and packets securely in place as they move. The shelf base is a smooth melamine surface, so small items will not tip or catch the way they can on wire baskets, and spills wipe away easily.

Features at a Glance
  • Suits standard corner cabinets. Designed for corner cabinets with a 400–450 mm or 500–600 mm door.
  • Independent shelves. Every shelf is free-standing and moves separately, so you only pull out what you need.
  • Secure double rail. A 10 × 4 mm double elliptical rail frames each shelf and keeps items in place.
  • Easy-clean melamine base. A flat, solid surface that is practical for jars, tins and packets.
  • Strong and stable. Each shelf holds up to 25 kg, enough for heavy pantry items, pots and small appliances.
  • Left or right. The mechanism is reversible, so it works in corners on either side of the kitchen.
  • Responsibly sourced. The timber components carry FSC™ Mix certification.
Why We Like It for Apartment Kitchens

It recovers space you are already paying for

In a compact kitchen, the corner cabinet can be one of the largest storage spaces you have. Uniko turns it from a dead zone into a pantry, a home for pots and pans or a neat spot for small appliances.

It can go into an existing kitchen

Uniko can be fixed directly to the base of the cabinet or to an existing shelf. That makes it a strong option when you want to improve storage without replacing your cabinetry, which is ideal for apartment owners preparing a property for lease or making small, high-impact upgrades.

It is kinder on your back

No more kneeling on the floor and reaching into the back of a cupboard. Everything comes out to meet you, which makes daily cooking easier for everyone in the household.

What to Consider Before You Choose
  • Measure the door opening. Uniko comes in sizes for 400–450 mm and 500–600 mm doors, so the existing cabinet dimensions decide which version fits.
  • Check the hinge and door swing. Corner pull-outs need the door to open wide enough for the shelves to pass through. We confirm this on site before ordering.
  • Plan what goes where. With 25 kg per shelf, heavier items such as pots and appliances are best on the lower shelf, with jars and packets above.
  • Match the finish. We will help you choose a finish that suits your cabinetry and the rest of your kitchen hardware.
