It can be either a meeting in our cozy design studio in Port Melbourne or as a home visit (inspection). This initial talk will help the project manager shape the initial concept and the size of the project, take measurements of the space and note down your essential requirements and preferences to proceed with the Initial Concept Design.
The initial Concept Design is your first glance at how your kitchen might look after renovation. However, it will take another couple of days to complete the technical design considering all tiny details from the width and depth of a shadowline (a designed recess or gap that creates a shadow effect), decide on the handles, refine the dimensions etc. Also, a final technical pre-build inspection is required. It is carried out by our technical designer and includes checking the floor plan/measurements and layout details such as power points, walls, floor levels, potential hazards etc. Some amendments or improvements are almost inevitable at this stage. Once the design is approved, the design documents are issued. With the full ownership of the plans you can proceed with building your kitchen cabinetry or take your plans elsewhere.
