Kitchen renovation: Claremont St Kitchen

This contemporary kitchen project showcases a bespoke stone-clad island designed as a strong architectural centrepiece. The island is fully wrapped in layered natural stone, creating a refined balance between texture, durability and visual impact.

The stacked stone finish introduces depth and warmth through a carefully selected palette of neutral greys and earthy tones. Precision installation ensures clean lines and consistent alignment, reinforcing the project’s emphasis on quality workmanship and detail.

A polished dark benchtop with a crisp waterfall edge provides a sleek contrast to the textured stone below, delivering both practicality and elegance. Integrated LED lighting at the base of the island enhances the stone’s relief and creates a subtle floating effect, adding atmosphere and functionality, particularly in the evening.

The bar area is completed with contemporary stools that combine timber and chrome, complementing the timber flooring while maintaining a modern aesthetic. Minimal styling allows the materials and craftsmanship to remain the focal point.
